Kato Meri Tour

A tour to kato meri area of Tinos. The villages of Komi, Perastra, Monastiria, Sklavohori, Agapi, Kato Klisma, Aetofolia, Karkados, Kalloni and Kolimpithra Bay.

Monastiria. A deserted village with the beautiful church of St. Joseph.

Sklavohori. The birthpace of Nikolaos Gizis, one of the most important painters of Greece.

Kolimpithra bay. 2 beautiful beaches of sand.

Komi - Volax - Falatados - Komi Route

A ride to the village of Volax in Tinos, the one with the rocks, and several others villages.

Volax has a unique surrounding of big rocks that give the place a lunar appearance.

As to the origin of the rocks there are many views, but the most probable are that either they come from
a comet or from an eruption of an old volcano.
